Sharps Disposal by Mail System®, offered by PharmaLink, is the ideal disposal
solution for facilities who inject therapeutic drugs.
Additionally, the system is convenient, cost effective, and ultimately compliant
with all state and federal regulations.
The Sharps Disposal By Mail System®
is comprised of a sharps container, a government approved return by mail system
and instructions for use. When the drug therapy is concluded, or when the sharps
container is full, the patient or generator of the medical waste returns the sharps
container to its original packaging. The original packaging is a postage pre-paid
return box, which is returned to Sharps via the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). Upon
receipt via the USPS, Sharps documents the receipt, weight and destruction of each
sharps container and its contents of used syringes.

The Sharps Disposal By Mail System® includes a sharps container, a government-approved
return box, a protective 3-mil bag liner and a 4-part simplified Tracking Form.
The cost of destruction and mailing, including confirmation of destruction, is included
in the purchase price. When the sharps container is full, it is placed in
the postage pre-paid return box and sent via U.S. Mail directly to the treatment
facility. The certified proof of destruction is then promptly available to
you through the Sharps Compliance proprietary SharpsTracer® online verification
system.
