Hilmer H. Beckers - Chairman & CEO
Hilmer Beckers is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PharmaLink, Inc.®. Prior to starting PharmaLink in 2000, he served 17 years with Pfizer, the world’s largest research-based pharmaceutical company. His final appointment with Pfizer before taking an early retirement was Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Marketing, where he led Pfizer’s strategic Sales and Marketing initiatives in their Medical Technology Group. Additionally, he spent seven years with Organon Teknika in Belgium managing day-to-day operations at a senior executive level.
After moving to Florida in the late 1990’s, Mr. Beckers started PharmaLink with the vision of creating the nation’s leading Reverse Distributor utilizing his expertise in the complete spectrum of pharmaceutical and healthcare supply chains. With tenured experience in many international marketplaces, he realized the need for the most advanced technology infrastructure and a superior management team to lead his company to the forefront of the industry. In doing so, he has assembled the elements of a company that is defining a new era in pharmaceutical returns processing, reverse logistics, and disposal.
With a concrete foundation in place and a customer centric approach to service and quality, Hilmer has led PharmaLink to be a major player in the healthcare marketplace, offering reverse logistics and disposal services to the complete range of the healthcare supply chain.
Hilmer earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics summa cum laude in 1964 from Hoger Handelsinstituut College in Belgium. He is a past President of the Clearwater Beach Rotary Club & Member of the Board. Hilmer is also actively involved in several charity events and fundraisers in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida.
